Sept. 26, 2007 Mayor’s Re-Election Announcement
Mayor Bill Paxton announced his intent to run for re-election on Sept. 26, 2007, at the Museum of the American Quilter. The location was fitting as the mayor played a significant role in securing the return of the 2008 Quilt Week Show to Paducah, attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists to our city.
